Smart-RTC, as a monitoring company, has developed a Real Time Telemetry (RTT) system based on the reading of mains analysers for obtaining the active, reactive and voltage power, grouping the measurements for subsequent transmission every 12 seconds to a Generation Control Centre using Modbus-TCP protocol.

Smart-RTC proposed solution consists in the placement of a mains mini-analyser for each plant and a Gateway Data Concentrator for groups of plants and/or energy meters. This Gateway Data Concentrator is equipped with an Ethernet interface (RJ-45 connector) for connection to an Internet access point.

Data collected by all the mini-analysers (up to 32 devices) associated with a Gateway Data Concentrator are accessible in aggregate and single way from the outside, using Modbus-TCP protocol.

This feature gives the system the possibility to become a useful Real-Time diagnostic tool of the mains quality in the evacuation point. It also meets the requirements set in the Spanish Royal Decree 1565/2010 for power plants of the Special Regime.

This solution avoids the modification of structures of communication and interferences in the process of reading data, so your installation doesn´t need to report any changes to the Distribution company in the area, thus avoiding to perform heavy and expensive procedures.
